A new approach

DH is away most of this week, so I am approaching my work a little differently.  I am planning just the night before rather than trying to do the whole week. That way I can get my marking done concurrently and it is like a little break from the planning.  Also, I don't have to remind myself what I planned to do the morning of the lessons.  Will see how that all works out when I have to have next week planned by Thursday for our lab technician.  Hmmm.  OK, just made an outline.  I feel much less stressed tonight, but it may bite me in the rear end later.  I guess this is the time to experiment.

DH ran the Robin Hood Marathon today.  He even made his target time.  We are all very very proud of him for setting the goal to run it in the first place, and then achieving it with such style.  I don't think the exhaustian factor will hit him until tomorrow as he was much to chipper later this afternoon.  The kids and I cheered him on at three points of the race: by the university, by the suspension bridge, and at the finish line.  Very good coordination and logistics managing on my part.

Hope I am not coming down with conjunctivitis.  I am already feeling a bit run down.  Paul and I both seem to have something bothering our intestines at the moment.  It is late, so I better get to bed.
