Happy moments

Had a few happiness life moments yesterday. Ran down along False Creek yesterday at 8:30 in the morning. Sun was shining, the view was breathtaking. Kept going for fifteen minutes without stopping all the way to Granville Island. This is what I always dreamed if doing. Then I walked back to our beautiful new home and showered, then ate a bowlful of berries and bananas and felt healthier (bar the allergy sniffles) than I have ever felt before in my life. I sat on the back stoop outside the kitchen with a cup of tea soaking up the sunshine. Then I picked up some flowers to take to my mom for Mother's Day. Took her our for lunch at the Boathouse at Kits beach. Then we strolled around Vanier Park and sat and watched all the ships in the bay. It was like she was a tourist in her own town. Then we went to the Planetarium to see the vintage fashion exhibition. I have never socialised with just my mother in this way. It was like we were friends, only better. She was curious about the iPhone. I did the soft sell. Would live to get her one or an iPad.
Then picked up my boys and we played at the house. Played with Payl too. Idyllic! For dinner I misjudged how far the Thai take away was and had to walk over a mile to get dinner. Nice though. Our neighbourhood gets better and better. They have just opened a comedy club a few blocks away!
